Welcome to the week 1 recap of North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. Unfortunately I don’t have much to add here as I’ve been sick the last several days and haven’t been able to focus on reading very much. Currently I am in the middle of Chapter V and I hope to finish it up either later today or tomorrow. It all depends on my ability to focus. (I really hate being sick!) But that is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to start sharing your thoughts. I’ve included a Mr Linky so that those who blog about the first 10 chapters can link to their post. For those that prefer the comments then start commenting! Also be sure to keep checking back here and I’ll revise this post once I’ve finished reading. I’m so sorry to slack off right at the start.
