Hello Internet!

By now you know the drill with this post. I list out the top books that I read and loved this past month and from them I choose the best of the best. This book then gets listed in my Top 12 List (check out my sidebar) and at the end of the year those 12 books are pitted against each other and my top book for the year is chosen.

The Contenders – 5 Star Reads

NA

April wasn’t the best reading month for me and most of the books were just average but there were a couple of 4 star reads for me to make a choice from. Of the two 4 star reads I had it was pretty easy to make a choice and that was for Half Bad by Sally Green. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked up this book but what I got was a fast paced engaging fantasy novel that I couldn’t put down. I am looking forward to the sequel and hate that I have to wait until next year for it! If you haven’t looked into this one yet then you really need to get on that!

I’ve been struggling with actual time reading lately as well. But I did read Dorothy Must Die and just loved it!! So that’s my favorite of the month.

I absolutely loved Allegiant by Veronica Roth! Even if it did shatter my heart into tiny pieces… Thanks for the giveaway!
