TopTwelve

Hello Internet!

By now you know the drill with this post. I list out the top books that I read and loved this past month and from them I choose the best of the best. This book then gets listed in my Top 12 List (check out my sidebar) and at the end of the year those 12 books are pitted against each other and my top book for the year is chosen.

The Contenders – 5 Star Reads

Feb Top Picks

Also Known As (Also Known As, Book 1) by Robin Benway
Open Road Summer by Emery Lord
Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

I read three fabulous 5 star reads this past month and its so hard to choose between them! But choose I must and I am going to use the age old, scientifically proven method of eenie meenie miney moe to help me decide. Because otherwise I would be sitting here forever unable to decide between these stories. Seriously, you can not go wrong reading any of these books and you should just go out and buy them all.

And my scientifically chosen Top Pick for February 2014 is…..

open road summer

Open Road Summer by Emery Lord! This is Lord’s debut novel and is about friendship, over coming the past, new love, and best of all it has a road trip!! I have such a weakness for road trips its not even funny. You’ll fall in love with Reagan and Lilah as they navigate the music world, tabloids and their close friendship will be tested when former boy band singer Matt is tossed into the mix. But be assured…there are no love triangles in this book!! This was an excellent story and I hated for it to end and I can not wait for Lord’s next book!

What about you? What was your favorite book read this month? Let me know in the comments below. =)
