Contest: Just One Day Series by Gayle Forman

Posted by Irish in Contest15 Comments

Hello internet!

Sometimes I feel really blessed to be a blogger and I love when opportunities come up that allow me to share those blessings with you, my readers. Yesterday, I received in the mail a paperback copy of Gayle Forman’s Just One Day (1st released: 08 Jan 2013, Dutton Juvenile) as well as another ARC of her upcoming book Just One Year (10 Oct 2013, Dutton Juvenile). To win these two great reads just use the rafflecopter below! This contest is open to US and Canada residents, however, I will ship internationally for those willing to pay actual shipping costs in US Dollars. I would love to always be able to send anywhere but it just gets so expensive. 🙁
About Just One Day

A breathtaking journey toward self-discovery and true love, from the author of If I Stay. When sheltered American good girl Allyson “LuLu” Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance of Twelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

About Just One Year

The heartrending conclusion—from Willem’s POV—to the romantic duet of novels that began with Allyson’s story in Just One DayAfter spending an amazing day and night together in Paris, Just One Year is Willem’s story, picking up where Just One Day ended. His story of their year of quiet longing and near misses is a perfect counterpoint to Allyson’s own as Willem undergoes a transformative journey, questioning his path, finding love, and ultimately, redefining himself.

I’d like to go to the ancient Mayan city of Tikal in Guatemala, but my wife favors Italy. I wonder which one we’ll see first.

The only thing holding me back from my travels is the lack of money. My children are older teens, so my husband and I have been discussing going to Europe. We’d love to be able to spend a month or so in each location and really live the good life! France, Italy, and especially Germany. ALL of Europe! Thank you for the giveaway.

I so badly want to go to Paris. But to be honest, I’d be happy to go anywhere out of the US. I’ve never even been across the country. D: I have no travel life.

Australia has been at the top of my travel list for ages but I haven’t gotten around to booking my flight yet!

Thanks so much for the giveaway!! I guess if I had an ultimate DREAM destination it would be Australia, because unless I get a windfall sometime soon I can’t see myself affording the airfare and everything else to get there and stay there for a bit. My other dream destination is a bit more realistic, and that would be the Netherlands, because that’s where my Mom’s side of the family is from, and so many of them still live there. My grandparents are so important to me, and I want to see where they’re from and explore the country.
