WWW Wednesday: 12 Dec 2012 (Find out what I'm reading this week)

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading asks you to answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading?

Katya's World by Jonathan L. Howard (GoodReads). I am still working through this one. The action has died a little but its still an interesting read and I hope to finish it soon. I just need to finish a blog tour book first.

The Iron Wyrm Affair by Lilith SaintCrow (GoodReads). I really need to stop visiting my library because every time I go I come home with more books that distract me from the ones that I need to read. Libraries are bad. I started this one on the plane home from my sisters...I'd listened to part of it prior to this but did not like the narrators. So far the print is going better.

Mia's Heart by Courtney Cole (GoodReads). Totally forgot that I had to read this for a blog tour until I looked at my calendar today at work. Have to have this read & reviewed for tomorrow. Wish me luck!

What did you recently finish reading?

This was a really slow reading week for me but I am not sad. I spent the time visiting with my sister, BIL, and 3 year old niece who I haven't seen since last August. So my time was mostly spent coloring and playing with legos and baking and just being a good little minion to the pig-tailed overlord. It was a good visit.

Third Grave Dead Ahead by Darynda Jones (GoodReads, 4 stars). I am now even more in love with Charlie Davidson than I was before even with that crazy twist that comes up near the end of this one that could potentially push series into the WTF category. Because there is just so much else to love. I am dying for book 4 to come in from the library and dreading it as well...since it only recently came out in stores the wait until the next book will be an eternity.

What did I post about last week?
What do you think you'll read next?

I'll probably read something from my List of Twelve...unless I get distracted by something shiny. And lately I've really been distracted by the shiny.
  1. Classic/Middle Grade^Ash Mistry and the Savage Palace by Sarwat Chadda
  2. New Release*: A Million Suns by Beth Revis
  3. Series: If We Kiss & Kiss Me Again by Rachel Vail - ok I know this is two books but they are both short so they can almost count as one.
  4. Review Book: What's Left of Me by Kate Zhang
  5. Backlist**: The Vampire Stalker by Allison VanDiepen
  6. Review Book: Venom by Fiona Paul
  7. New Release*: Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne

  1. Great books! I really really want to read Katya's World after reading the first few chapters online. I am loving Strange Chemistry's books right now they're great. I'm not sure if I have the Iron Wyrm Affair on my kindle but it definitely looks interesting I need to read more steampunk books :)

  2. The Iron Wyrm Affair looks really good. So does Mia's Heart. I read Dante's Girl by that author earlier this year and adored it. Happy reading! :]
