WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading asks you to answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
My answers:
What are you currently reading?
Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone (GoodReads, Audio). I had put this aside to get to Days of Blood and Starlight. I finished that audio over the weekend but as it has ruined me for all other audios I don't know when I'll get back to this one.
Princess of Glass by Jessica Day George (GoodReads). This is a companion/follow up to George's Princess of the Midnight Ball. This story is a mash up between the Twelve Dancing Princesses and Cinderella. Haven't made it far yet so can't really make any judgments on it.
First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones (Goodreads, Audio). I should not have started this audio. I should be finishing the audio I was in the middle of before Days of Blood & Starlight consumed me. But I hit the wrong button on my iPod on my drive up to Andover yesterday and ended up starting this one. The first chapter had me laughing out loud. Charley Davidson has much the same thoughts and reactions that I do when it comes to mornings and coffee. Though fortunately, I don't have to deal with dead people during my non-caffeinated times.
What did you recently finish reading?
Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor (GoodReads, Audio, 5 stars). I am dead. This audio...this story...it has killed me. (Full Review Here.)
Murder List by Julie Garwood (GoodReads, 3 stars). I love these Buchanan brothers but I hate how this one didn't have Noah Claybourne. I didn't like the prologue and the boring scene from Regan's childhood. I also didn't like the passiveness of Regan's character. She just let everyone push her around and I didn't like how she thought she was so unworthy and unpretty. I also wish there was more suspense to the mystery. But I did like Alec and I hope that we see more of him in future books. I also hope to see more of some of the other secondary characters as they were often more interesting than Regan.
Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George (GoodReads, 3 stars). I always adore a good fairy tale retelling and this one was no different. This book was a retelling of the story the Twelve Dancing Princesses. Overall, it was a good story and a quick read but there was something about it that kept me from loving it entirely. This could just be book hangover residue from Days of Blood and Starlight. Its always hard moving on from a really good book.
What do you think you'll read next?
I'll probably read something from my List of Twelve...unless I get distracted by something shiny. And lately I've really been distracted by the shiny.

- New Release*: A Million Suns by Beth Revis
- Series: If We Kiss & Kiss Me Again by Rachel Vail - ok I know this is two books but they are both short so they can almost count as one.

- Backlist**: The Vampire Stalker by Allison VanDiepen
- Review Book: Venom by Fiona Paul
- New Release*: Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne

You never know...maybe you are. Many stories have a long lost princess plot. ;-)
DeleteI enjoyed Princess Midnight Ball as well, but yea, there was something that kept it from being perfect. But I didn't know there was the slipper of glass, will have to check it out! I also need to get on the Laini Taylor train, I have seen nothing but good stuff about those books! But I am sort of looking for a book from my shelves to stick and First Grave is on my TBR, maybe that will work! My WWW is here:
