I first heard about Undeniably Yours by Shannon Stacey through one of the blogs I visited for Miz B’s WWW Wednesday meme. I’d been looking for some new contemporary romances to try out so I requested it from my local library at the first opportunity. This was my first interaction with the mad crazy Kowalski family and I really wanted to like this book. And while I did like most of the characters I found the heroine of the story, Beth, to be a bt of a b&*ch. She was very standoffish and argumentative and I often wondered why Kevin put up with it all.

Beth just wasn’t very likable and while I get wanting to be a strong, independent person she took it to the extreme and refused any and all help if she could. There just comes a time when refusing any and all help just becomes stupid. Especially when its not just you that you have to worry about. You can tell that this is a fictional story because no matter how mean and ridiculous Beth was Kevin just kept trying.

The secondary storyline/romance of Paulie and Sam that was contained withing this book seemed to have more depth to it than the main romance. I also liked both of these characters so much more than the two leads. Well, I did like Kevin but as the story progressed I just wished he’d stop letting Beth treat him like crap. The one thing I didn’t like about this secondary storyline was that it was too short, too crammed together and was a bit of distraction for the main storyline. I really think that it would have been better to have had a book all of its own.

I did enjoy meeting the Kowalski family in this book but after reading Exclusively Yours I think that they were underutilized in this book. I think I would have liked this one more if there had been more Kowalski’s and a little less Beth. Overall, Undeniably Yours wasn’t a bad contemporary romance but its definitely my least favorite in the series so far.

These kind of characters really frustrate me. This makes the reading process just unenjoyable. Someone can only be so daft.
