The first Kowalski Family book that I read was Undeniably Yours which is the second book in the series and was a fun taste of this crazy, mad family. Exclusively Yours deals with the oldest Kowalski brother, Joe, and his old high school sweetheart Keri who broke his heart years ago when she left town. Now he’s a famous author and she’s an entertainment reporter and her boss tells her to do whatever it takes to get an exclusive. Joe’s price…to go with him on his family annual camping trip of doom and for every day she survives she gets to ask one question.

I really loved Shannon Stacey’s portrayal of this family. They were loud and funny and never missed an opportunity to tease one another. This story was made more enjoyable because of all the secondary characters contained with it. I like Keri and Joe’s romance and thought that their story progressed nicely and believably.  The thing that bothered me about this story was the secondary storyline/romance that involved Joe’s twin sister, Teri. This was just a distraction since it was just sort of crammed in with the main storyline. Exclusively Yours isn’t a long book and that added storyline just took away from my enjoyment of the book. I often found Teri to be a bit abrasive and just never connected with her at all.

Like most romances there was a lot of random head  jumping in this book though it was mostly contained to Joe, Keri, and Teri. But there wasn’t much structure to it but it was never difficult to determine whose head you were in and when. Exclusively Yours is a quick read and I read it in about a day. The story is fast paced and it makes the read want to know how Joe and Keri find their HEA. But as I said above I would have enjoyed this one more without that side storyline. Overall though the Kowalski’s are a fun family and if you like contemporary romances then you should check this one out.

I don’t know why, but even with great reviews from you and other people who enjoy romances, I have no interest in reading this series. I think part of it is that I don’t want another series in my life. Someday I may try them but for now, I’m content. However, good review!

But a romance series isn’t like a paranormal trilogy as no book is dependent on reading another for understanding or learning a conclusion. The Kowalski Family books are quick easy reads and I think that you might like them.

I like finding these type of series. I like to just mow through them. Makes the time go by so quickly.
