Book 1 – A Need So Beautiful
Book 2 – A Want So Wicked
There are some books out there that have beautiful covers and a interesting sounding plot but for whatever reason never seem to meet expectations. A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young is one of those books. This was a book that I was really excited to read as it just sounded so unique and different and yet I didn’t rush to read it. Then when I did I felt a bit meh about it. A Need So Beautiful isn’t a bad book but there was just something about it that never gripped me.

Overall this was a very quick read and so that was a plus for the book but I never really connected with the characters or the story.  I think a part of me spent most of the book just waiting for something to happen. Which is weird since this was a book with a plot and things did happen. Its had to put my feelings into words as I really can’t quite pinpoint what it is that I didn’t like about this book. The book was well written but there was just something about the plot that just seemed…off.

Maybe because things weren’t explained in a way that ever fully made sense to me. Or maybe it was that I just expected something more based on high praise that I’ve heard of it. I will say that I didn’t expect that ending. It wasn’t a typical ending to a book and did make me curious to read the next book in the series. But its not a book that I am going to rush out to read.

Aww I’m sorry that this book wasn’t awesomesauce for you like it was for me. I can definitely see where you’re coming from, though. 🙂 Thank you for the honest review!
